Stylish Beach Club Mediterranean Coast
This stylish beach venue is in the gorgeous Italian seaside town of Anzio. This elegant town has an ancient and important history and more recently was visited by wealthy travellers on the 'grand tour' and has an Italian riviera feel. It has wide beaches and is full of elegant villas, tree lined streets, grand public buildings and a lovely yachting marina. It also has lots of good restaurants, including many that serve fantastic fish and seafood right on the beach. I was born in Torquay, on the south coast of Great Britain and there are similarities with Anzio! However whilst my home town's elegance has faded a little Anzio is vibrant, current and of course hot and sunny. It's a lovely place for you and your guests to spend time getting around the town easily on foot and enjoying the beaches and sights of interest. I'm sure your wedding guests will thank you for introducing them to the lovely town of Anzio.
I can arrange a beautiful symbolic ceremony on the beach at the beach club and even at sunset to add extra romance! To get legally married you have to make a visit to the Town Hall to sign the marriage register on the Mayor's desk but you and I can do this separately, maybe the day before or day after. I will arrange this for you.
Alternatively the town has a beautiful and famous Catholic basilica where I can arrange a Catholic wedding ceremony with an English speaking priest.
In the chic but relaxed Italian atmosphere of the beach club you'll enjoy great food and wine and very friendly people. You will enjoy a wonderful wedding banquet compromising of many courses of great food over a long warm Mediterranean evening. Afterwards enjoy a beach party with a DJ or live band into the night.
The location is available between May and October although it's important to note that in June, July and August it is very hot and the beach is very busy, meaning that you have to start after 7pm in the evening. Earlier and later in the season there is more flexibility for privacy and for the timetable for your wedding day.
The town is within easy travelling distance of Rome and the two Rome airports Ciampino and Fiumicino and there is plenty of good accommodation in the form of private B&Bs and private villas to rent close to the venue. Trains run every hour from the central Rome train station Termini (the journey takes 1 hour) to a station 10 minutes drive from Anzio and then a quick 10 minute taxi ride takes you to your destination. Alternatively from both the Rome airports Fiumicino and Ciampino, you can hire a car or take a taxi and the drive takes 1 hour. Obviously we can help organise private transfers for groups.
