Sea View Wedding in Italy – At this impressive Napoleonic Fort on the Adriatic coast we can arrange a symbolic wedding ceremony on a sea view terrace or in the lovely central gardens. The Fort, which has been lovingly converted into an incredible wedding venue and boutique hotel, is right on the beach. It is in a quiet bay with a few beach clubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Wedding Ceremonies
Beach wedding ceremonies are also possible. Love Italy Weddings will be happy to arrange a symbolic beach wedding ceremony for you here. It is a rugged beach which is made up of a mixture of sand and pebbles.
Wedding ceremony in a Catholic Church. There are 2 Catholic Churches very close to the Fort. One is pictured below and is right on the water’s edge.
For civil weddings we attend the local Town Hall. We have 2 options here for a civil wedding ceremony. Firstly we can arrange the ceremony at the local Town Hall, which is about 10 minutes drive away. We would arrange for a coach (or two) to take your group from the Fort to the Town Hall for the wedding ceremony. This will be a lovely excursion, all very comfortable and relaxed. At the end of the ceremony we will arrange for everybody to be served with a Prosecco toast and finger food whilst photos are taken. This is a nice way for you and your guests to savour the special moment.
The second option for a civil ceremony is for the couple to attend the Town Hall with your wedding planner the day before, just to complete the paperwork. Then the following day (or even later the same day if you prefer) have the celebration part of the ceremony at the Fort, with your guests. Ceremonies at the Fort are absolutely spectacular (see photos below) especially considering the backdrop – the Adriatic.
Small or large groups. This venue can host large groups in style but is also perfectly suited to smaller intimate weddings.
Accommodation
The hotel has 33 lovely rooms so groups up to 60 can be accommodated on site. For larger groups there are other lovely hotels a very short distance from the Fort.
Airport
This location is convenient for Ancona airport which has direct flights from Stansted Airport in London. Also Munich and Brussels and other European centres.
