Catholic Church Weddings in Italy

Italy has some of the most impressive churches in the world and church weddings in Italy are beautiful occasions.  Many larger Italian wedding venues venues have a church attached to the venue or one very close.  If not we arrange group transport and a stylish bridal car to take you there.

Having a different ceremony venue can add variety and allows your guests to enjoy two stunning Italian wedding locations on your big day.

A legally recognised church marriage in Italy is always Catholic and at least one of you has to be Catholic whilst the other can be of a different faith.  There is a straightforward process to complete at your parish church in your home country.  We will advise you about this.

Or you can have a simple legal civil marriage in your own country first and then enjoy a beautiful Italian Catholic church marriage blessing ceremony in Italy.  This can be in English or Italian, as you prefer.  This way can simplify the paperwork process for you.  In some locations it may be possible to have a Protestant ceremony, for example in Rome.

We love the variety of churches we find at venues in Italy, from huge stone abbeys to small quaint churches attached to villas, to the unique opulence of Rome churches.

So pick your style!  Go large and make a statement or coddle yourself with cute and country – and we’ll make sure you have the floral design to match!

The church in the above picture is in a small hilltop village and is attached to this fabulous wedding venue in Abruzzo: Barons Palace.
