Travelling to Sorrento.
To get to Sorrento, if you are travelling from outside Italy would most easily involve flying to either Naples or Rome. Naples Airport is the easiest as it is only 52 kilometres from Sorrento and there are trains from the airport to Sorrento very regularly, every 20 minutes or so.
The journey from Rome is also quite easy. Train from Rome Termini Station takes about two and a half hours to get to Sorrento and again, they run very regularly.
