Location
This stunning wedding venue in Italy is a converted monastery. It is in the Trastevere district of Rome which is renowned for it’s lively street life and is full of great bars and restaurants. It is grand stone structure that towers over the district and provides fabulous views of Rome from the amazing roof terrace. Walking out of the Monastery you are immediately into the quaint lively streets and are presented with a selection of relaxed places to enjoy the atmosphere or walk around the city.
Wedding Ceremony
The monastery has an attached Catholic Church for wedding ceremonies or we can create a beautiful symbolic ceremony on the roof terrace. For a legal civil wedding ceremony we would use the beautiful Campadoglio or The Carcalla which are Rome’s civil wedding villas.
Dining
There is an elegant inside dining room or you could dine outside in the lovely courtyard gardens. The roof terrace with it’s spectacular views is a great setting for welcome drinks and your group can relax and mingle whilst enjoying the view. The food and wine are excellent as you would expect from a wedding venue in Italy and we can help you tailor a menu to suit. For pre or post wedding group meals there is a fabulous selection of great eateries on the doorstep.
Accommodation
This is a large venue and has 60 bedrooms. This means that it can easily accommodate large groups and everybody can stay together. There is of course a large selection of alternative accommodation close by. The rooms are fabulous and your guests will be assured of a comfortable and memorable stay in what is a unique building.
Getting here
All roads lead to Rome! International groups can arrive at Ciampino or Fiumicino airports from which the venue can be reached easily by taxi.
